Hi everyone! I’m Gracie McKenna, the sole author and editor behind SayGoodnightGracie.org, a new blog fresh on the Marist University scene. I’m super excited to have an outlet to publish my work, as well as a space for others to engage with and read it. I encourage you to read along, jump in with thoughts, and if you feel like offering any constructive criticism, please do! I’m all ears!
I’m a junior at Marist University, majoring in communication with a concentration in journalism. I’ve always been curious by nature and had a knack for asking “too many” questions, which is exactly what led me down the path of studying journalism.
I grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey, a densely populated city just across the Hudson from the towering skyline of Manhattan. Growing up, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by interesting people from all different backgrounds and perspectives, which taught me early on how much you can learn just by paying attention and listening. I love learning and discovering new things I never knew before, and the fact that there’s still so much out there I haven’t learned yet excites me even more.
With that, I very much hope those of you reading this, or any other publishings I make throughout the semester, can both enjoy and relate to what I share.
